Product Description

Sakata PLA 3D850 is a high-quality filament manufactured in the EU using NatureWorks Ingeo™ 3D850, a biodegradable material engineered for 3D printing. It offers exceptional thermal and mechanical properties, low warping, and fast crystallization—making it an excellent alternative to standard PLA for functional and demanding applications.

Why choose PLA 3D850 over standard PLA?

  • Faster crystallization allows for higher printing speeds
  • Improved thermal resistance: up to 90 °C–110 °C after annealing*
  • Higher tensile strength and impact resistance
  • Minimal warping and high dimensional accuracy

Technical Specifications:

  • Diameter: 1.75 mm (±0.03 mm tolerance)
  • Weight: 1 kg net
  • Material: NatureWorks Ingeo™ PLA 3D850
  • Spool size: Ø 195 mm outer, 75 mm hub hole

Recommended Print Settings:

  • Nozzle temperature: 190 °C – 230 °C
  • Heated bed: not required, or 50 °C – 70 °C
  • Print speed: 30 – 90 mm/s
  • Cooling: Fan ON

Post-Processing for Thermal Resistance:

To achieve the stated heat resistance (≥90 °C): place the printed object in a preheated oven at 80–130 °C for 10–15 minutes, turn off the oven, and let it cool gradually. After annealing, parts withstand higher service temperatures.

Applications:

  • Prototypes and functional components
  • Tools and jigs requiring dimensional stability
  • Parts with minimal support structures thanks to high crystallization

Enjoy high gloss, excellent opacity, and professional performance with Sakata PLA 3D850 filament.
